Dear David,
I heard about pickle pops from an internet friend, and since I love pickle juice I had to try them. This is actually my second order, my first was for 40 and they didn't last a week. I have about 10 friends who are now pickle pop fiends, so in self defense I upped my order to the box of 120. We love them. Keep up the good work.
Thank you,

Hello David, Yes this is my first order. A friend who is also a closet pickle juice drinker (ha ha!) and a diehard pickle eater told me about them. Once she received her order she told me about great they were. She offered to bring me a couple to try! I fell in love with the first bite. I was hooked... So I decided this is a great fundraiser for my daughter's preschool and for the college I am employed at. I have been looking for opportunities to raise money for scholarships for our college students and/or our Student Government Association. And now I have found it. I can guarantee I will have many more orders to come. This is just a test run. I read the nutritional information and articles related to it. Impressive. Thanks for an exciting new twist on a product we all love! Tracy E Director, High School Relations New River Community and Technical College Beckley, WV 5-4-08 |
Hello David, I first heard of you through a newspaper article in the Tulsa World. We ordered some at that time (from a different address...we have since moved) and are hooked now :) |
Hi David! Yes, this is my first order. I'm a Certified Personal Chef based in Westchester County, New York and read about you in the New York Times. I have a couple of great ideas for using your pickle pops, and want to do some recipe testing and developing. I'll let you know how they turn out. Best, Jonathan T.

Dear David,
Thanks for your email. Yes, I was watching CNN and really enjoyed the newscast about your product. I love dill pickles and seeing your product was one of those "what a brilliant idea - why didn't I think of that" moments.
My PayPal account was initially established while residing in Germany. When I relocated to Dubai, my new address and credit card details occasionally present confusion when using the PayPal check out system; sometimes it shows Germany and sometimes UAE.
We're looking forward to receiving your wonderfully described product. I will share with my colleagues here at the Emirates Airline Safety Department - we're an international group of technical experts and perhaps I can drum up some more orders for you.
Best wishes, --Helmut

Hello David, This is indeed my second order. My grandchildren LOVE the pickle pops and I love their eating them instead of candies and other sweets! One of my daughters called me this weekend and asked if I had more of them because her kids had eaten all that I had given to her. Since I only had about 2 dozen left I immediately put in another 120 order.
My grandson says that all of his friends want them because "they love them to death". This was a statement that you actuallly had to be there to have enjoyed to it's fullest extent. He was VERY antimated! LOL.
Thanks so much for these wonderful treats.

David,
I was amused to see the picklepops' tent at the New Braunfels (TX) wine festival. It brought back fond memories of summertime when I would take my daughter, Nora, to the snow cone vendor and she would always order a dill pickle snow cone.
Back in April, Nora called to tell me she and her husband were expecting their first baby. She was elated, but also aprehensive and a bit homesick, too. Her husband, Ivan recently graduated from Navy basic training. Then they moved to Goose Creek (Charleston area), SC. where Ivan is in school. Up until a few month's ago, my daughter had never lived very far from her family. Even when she was in college and living on campus, she was within walking distance of her mother's and grandmother's houses.
A box of picklepops sounded like the perfect present for Nora's first Mother's Day. She was thrilled to receive them, but those sentimental picklepop moments did not last too long.
From your website, I noticed they were available at Central Market. When I was in Austin, I looked but could not find them in the store. So, I went back to your website and placed an order of 120 to be sent to my daughter (however, since then, I have seen Bob's Picklepops at Central Market in San Antonio).
Nora was grateful for the new shipment and has even shared them with some of her new friends.
Is there anyplace near Charleston, SC where Bob's Picklepops are available? Nora's going to be pregnant until October.

| Hi, I am an avid cyclist, and pickle juice is very useful during long summer rides. You may want to spend some time targeting this crowd for your product. There are always vendors offering trial samples of pickle juice at the Hotter n Hell 100 in Witchita Falls in late August. Your may want to consider comming out to that event as your packaging is quite a bit different and easier to carry than a bottle of pickle juice. We tend to freeze to pickle sickle and put them in our water bottle and fill with gator aid or some other electrolyte drink during riding and eat/drink the pickle pop after we finish off the fluid in the bottle. This makes it much easier to carry than other pickle juice products. Shawn |

Today, I picked up a box of Pickle Sickles at the Central Market here in Houston. I figured I'd either love them or end up with a box of frozen pickle juice sitting in my freezer until the end of time.
After trying my very first one, I'm glad to say (between smiles) that this box of pickle juice won't last for long! Absolutely addictive- Robin

Kimberly,
It must have gotten cut off somehow because I could see the whole thing! Thanks so much for letting me know!
The message should say: Happy Summer! Love, Caki
My nieces are so excited they are getting a surprise in the mail and they LOVE pickles, so this will be a big treat and I've sent your website to a lot of folks who do fundraisers etc...
Do you have any idea of the estimated delivery date?
Thanks again so much for the e-mail!

The Food section staff goes Free Range on Food every Wednesday at 1 p.m. ET. Read about the staff of the Food section.
The transcript follows....
Arlington, Va.: I loved the article about pickle juice! I actually tend to add the leftover pickle juice to potato salad and even tuna salad: it adds a necessary zing! It also helps to add a bit of the juice to the water when you boil potatoes to prevent potatoes from getting too mushy.
When I was a little girl, my mom marinated her own tomatoes and watermelon, and the "juice" from that is even better!!!
Bonnie: That potato tip may just net you a cookbook today . . . are you listening, editor Joe?
Joe: I'm with you -- I've added pickle juice to potato salads for longer than I can remember. And I've been known to drink from the jar, even . . . .

Pickle Sickle: The video on the pickle sickles was great... especially loved the girl clenching her teeth because she was trying to smile... haha! So cute.
Joe: Glad you liked it. Leave it to our great video editors at WPNI -- I of course laughed the whole time I was filming that one, but I never would've thought to put that particular moment in, and it ended up being one of my favorite sections!
